Together with its members of leading global travel and tourism companies, the International Tourism Partnership assists the industry to make a valuable contribution to the countries and cultures in which they operate, to their customers, their shareholders and future generations. Hyatt has been a member since 2007.
The U.S. Green Building Council is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community of leaders working to make green buildings available to everyone within a generation. Hyatt has been a member of USGBC since 2009.
Andaz and Women for Women International are providing community members in war-torn countries with the tools and resources they need to reach their fullest potential and rebuild their societies. This collaboration will provide skills training and income generation opportunities for Iraqi women who will produce special laundry bags for all Andaz hotels around the world. For nearly two decades, Women for Women International has helped over 317,000 women survivors of war move from crisis and poverty to stability and self-sufficiency.
The Youth Career Initiative (YCI) enables international hotels to provide a six-month education program for high school graduates from disadvantaged backgrounds. The program empowers its young participants to make informed career choices and realize the options available to them, enabling them to improve their employability and enhance their long-term social and economic opportunities.
